CMS Berlin, the leading international trade show for cleaning and hygiene, held a successful industry gathering at the Berlin Exhibition Centre from 19 to 22 September 2023. With a total of 421 exhibitors from 25 countries and a record attendance of around 21,000 visitors, the trade fair underlined its position as the central industry gathering for the entire cleaning industry.

CMS Berlin offers exhibitors the ideal platform to present their innovations in the field of commercial cleaning technology to a wide audience. The trade fair provides a comprehensive overview of the market and attracts highly qualified trade visitors from all over the world. With over 31,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor exhibition space, CMS Berlin offers plenty of room for product presentations, live demonstrations and networking.

The 2023 trade show was characterised by full trade fair activity, hustle and bustle at the stands and well-attended auditoriums. The high innovation density, over 100 live demonstrations and 61 presentations provided an in-depth insight into the latest developments in the industry. The Purus Innovation Award (PIA) expert jury selected six winners from 83 competition entries, and exhibitors presented an impressive 86 innovations, including 29 trade show premieres and 9 world premieres.

CMS Berlin not only offers an ideal platform for established companies such as Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG and Hako GmbH, but also for up-and-coming start-ups such as LIONSBOT, whose CEO Dylan Ng Terntzer praised the highly qualified visitors as decision-makers.

Federal Guild Master Thomas Dietrich from the Federal Guild Association of the Commercial Cleaning Trade (BIV) emphasises the strong visitor magnet effect of the topics of sustainability and digitalisation.

Important Notice from Messe Berlin to Exhibitors regarding Unofficial Indices of Exhibitors – in particular Expo Guide, Connect Publisher and Fair Guide.

EXPO GUIDE, S.C. and Connect Publisher S.C., companies registered in Mexico, offers updated company information in an exhibitors directory for fairs and exhibitions under the reference „Data Review / Validity expiration”, which is fee-based. The fine print of these order forms indicates that upon their being signed, a contract is concluded for three (3) years that will generate costs of at least 1,000.00 € per annum. Recently the Construct Data Publishers a.s., registered now in Bratislava, Slovakia, is again offering a listing in its exhibitors directory “Fair Guide”. The approach is the same as with the “Expo Guide” and "Connect Publisher".

Since many exhibitors have been receiving these proposals, we wish to make clear that the registrations offered to be made in the “Expo Guide”, "International Fairs Directory"(Connect Publisher S.C) or “Fair Guide”are not entries in the official index of exhibitors for CMS. Messe Berlin is not connected in any way whatsoever to the publishers of the “Expo Guide” and “Fair Guide”. We wish to indicate to our exhibitors that Messe Berlin either produces its catalogues itself or awards exclusive contracts for the production and marketing of such catalogues. Any publishing firms we work with will introduce themselves to the exhibitors as the exclusive catalogue publisher for Messe Berlin or the respective fair project. For CMS is our exclusive partner for the print and online catalogue the editorial team Virtual Market Place®

Once exhibitors have been admitted to a fair, their basic entry in the official fair catalogue is assured. Furthermore, all exhibitors will be contacted by the editorial team of Virtual Market Place® so that they may complete their entries in the online catalogue should they so desire. Please feel free to contact us at cms@messe-berlin.com at any time should you receive a proposal and have doubts as regards the party submitting such proposal.
